Lisa LaTourette-Pershan
on the other side of
the ragged EDGE...
Lisa LaTourette-Pershan is a twenty-eight year old poet and fiction writer.
She wrote and illustrated her first 'novel' at age nine and has been
writing ever since. She's worked many jobs over the years and has had many
different identities: cleaning woman, waitress, factory worker,
telemarketer, shot girl in a nightclub, and surgical assistant to a dentist,
to name a few. She now teaches various classes for kids at the local
community center, and has vowed never to work with adults again. Lisa has
had poetry and prose appear in The Moonwort Review, remark., Zygote in my
Coffee, Beginnings Magazine, WORDs DANCE and others. She lives in America
on the New Jersey shoreline with her husband, an accomplished jazz musician,
and their many cats.
