Karl Koweski on the Other Side of the

ragged edge logo

all hail the great god Kazaa

I don't know what compelled
me to type Erica Campbell
into the search engine

(other than the admiral
who steers the ship from
between my legs--
but he's not computer savvy)

regardless
eleven hours later, I stumbled
away from the Dell computer
as Moses once descended
Mount Sinai, eyes aflame
with the after image of bush

in fact
as I type this, the computer
gathers the kilobits necessary
to present a five minute vignette
of wild and crazy women
abandoning clothes and morals

pretending for just a moment
the ravishing young beauties
traveling on mommies and daddies
dime would give me
even a second of their time

all hail the great god Kazaa
and the lesser deities
Morpheus, Ares, et al

without these portals
into a better,
garmentally challenged world
I might actually be able
to get some writing done
