adolf hitler's moustache

whoever told adolf hitler
his moustache looked good
must have felt quite bad
when he realised that
Adolf looked a fool with it
but by the time he was quite well known
people expected to see his moustache
so that even when he was busy
invading making war
killing Jews gypsies gays
people with disabilities
and whoever else he thought of
he could send his moustache
to meetings and rallies
and everyone would be happy
even when he got into the idea
of mass production murder
in concentration camps
he didn’t make it compulsorily
for people to wear
his look alike moustache
quite the opposite really
because everybody didn’t

I think Adolf was a fan of
Charlie Chaplin even if
Charlie wasn’t an Aryan
and I think Adolf secretly
wanted to emulate him
he was working hard on
catch phrases:
“Heil Hitler” and the funny walk
were way ahead of their time
and if he came to Liverpool
to visit with his brother
maybe something of the place
stayed with him

it was just that no one appreciated
Adolf’s special sense of humour
he was really bad at pathos
and pratfalls
but the moustache was a good start
unfortunately for him
no one understood ironic humour
because of this
people missed the point
and no one laughed
